Interface's online tools use Tricycle images to showcase new products, giving interior designers and architects the ability to begin schematic design online. Viewing carpet in room scenes, various tile configurations, and ordering paper print samples for the early rounds of decision making... these are all part of Interface's Mission Zero initiative.
Interface uses Tricycle images online to reduce the cost of marketing its carpet products. Not only can simulated carpet be used in room scenes and for full-scale images - eliminating the need for costly photo shoots - but it also reduces the waste of merchandising because the accurate, realistic simulation can be used to promote carpet that has not yet been physically tufted.
